THE TALENT DEN LLC

Studio Policies & Tuition Agreement

2025–2026 Academic Year

Effective March 1, 2026

Enrollment in any lesson, class, clinic, subscription, or service provided by The Talent Den LLC constitutes full agreement to the following policies.

These policies apply to all students, programs, and payment structures without exception.

1. Tuition & Enrollment Structure

A. Tuition Secures a Time Slot — Not Attendance

Tuition payments secure a recurring weekly instructional time slot.

Tuition is not based on attendance, number of lessons attended, or student participation.

Missed lessons do not reduce tuition owed.

Missed lessons do not transfer to future months or semesters.

B. Monthly Subscription Model (Standard Enrollment)

All standard private lessons and group classes operate under a recurring monthly subscription model.

• Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.

• A 5-day grace period is provided.

• On the 6th day, a $25 administrative late fee is applied.

• If payment is not received by the 7th, lessons are paused and the time slot may be released to the waiting list.

Tuition continues monthly until written withdrawal is submitted.

Failure to attend lessons does not stop or pause billing.

C. Accelerated Registration (Mid-Month Start Option)

Accelerated Registration is available for students starting after the 6th of the month.

This allows a one-time prorated payment for remaining lessons in that month only.

Accelerated Registration:

• Does not constitute full monthly enrollment

• Does not include rollover privileges

• Automatically transitions into standard monthly subscription the following month

D. Annual Registration Fee

An annual $50 registration fee is required for all students (new and returning).

Registration fee reserves student priority status and studio placement for the academic year.

Registration does not replace tuition.

2. Attendance & Make-Up Policy

A. No Rollover Policy

The Talent Den does not transfer, roll over, or credit unused lessons between:

• Months

• Semesters

• Academic years

This applies to excused and unexcused absences.

B. Illness & Absences

• One excused absence per month may be made up within the same calendar month, if a time becomes available.

• Additional absences are forfeited.

• Missed group classes are not made up.

Make-up lessons must occur within the same month. They do not carry forward.

C. 24-Hour Notice

Private lessons require 24-hour notice for an absence to be considered excused.

Absences without proper notice are charged in full and are not eligible for make-up.

D. Tardiness

Students arriving late are not guaranteed extended time beyond their scheduled lesson.

Lessons end at the scheduled time.

3. Semester Prepayment Option (20-Lesson Package)

Students who prepay for 20 lessons per semester must complete all lessons within the designated semester dates.

Unused lessons at semester end are forfeited.

No semester rollover is permitted.

Fall Semester:

September 7, 2025 – January 31, 2026

Spring Semester:

February 1, 2026 – June 25, 2026

All make-up lessons must be completed before the semester concludes.

4. Delinquent Accounts & Administrative Fees

• Declined payments incur a $25 administrative fee.

• Lessons are paused until account balance is current.

• The Talent Den reserves the right to release time slots due to nonpayment.

Administrative fees are separate from tuition and must be paid independently.

5. Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal requires written notice via email.

Failure to attend lessons does not constitute withdrawal.

Tuition continues until written notice is received.

There are no refunds after the initial two-week grace period.

6. Teacher Absence & Weather Policy

• Teacher absences will always be made up.

• Inclement weather may result in Zoom lessons in place of in-person instruction. Or a rescheduled in person instruction.

• Weather closures do not reduce tuition owed.

7. Media & Publicity

Photos and video taken at studio events may be used for marketing purposes.

Written email notice must be submitted to opt out of publicity use.

8. Policy Updates

The Talent Den LLC reserves the right to refine or update policies annually.

Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance

• Classes may be conducted in person, online, or in a hybrid format.

By registering for a Talent Den Summer Intensive, students and parents acknowledge and agree to these policies and procedures.

Why Should You Choose The Talent Den?

Intensive Training: Talent Den offers a rigorous, professional-level training for serious actors and singers of all ages, compared to the more child-centered hobbyist focus of The Bennett Academy and other local theater schools.

  • Holistic Innovative Approach: Our no frills curriculum includes not just performance but also industry insights, networking opportunities, and career coaching from top Talent and Casting Agents, and successful alumni.

  • Education to Professional Industry Pipeline: While we love community theater, our intermediate and advanced students work in more professional films, theater, and concerts within one year of registration.

  • Financial Programs: Students can apply to short term Clinics and gain the same access as full time students. They can schedule 2 week, 4 week and 8 week clinics, based on their personal schedule and finances. Clinic students will get access to discounted Master Classes, making it easy for them to still recieve the best arts education as their full time collegues.

  • Global Reach: Through our Virtual Program, students are not limited to Westchester County, NY. We have built the careers of performers nationally and internationally. Students always have their coaches available, during tours, while on set, and before concerts and auditions.

  • Artist Development: We hold our client’s hand while they build their career, we work as managers, give guidance, and help the artist pivot or stay on task for success.
